INSPEARNATIONS
Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.  The only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is.  He is perfectly holy,  just, loving, and truthful.  One being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  Gen.1:1, 26, Deut.6:4, Isa.43:10-11, Mt.28:19

We believe in the deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, miracles, sacrificial death to save us from our sins, and His resurrection and ascension to heaven and is now alive today in the presence of God the Father.  Mt.1:21, 23, John 1:1-2, 14, 3:16, Acts 1:2-3, 9, 2:22

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life. Sanctification is the process of being separated from sin and dedicated to God, which begins at salvation and continues throughout the lifetime of the believer. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4, is poured out on believers so that they might have God’s power to be His witnesses.  Gal.5:22-23, I Thess.4:3-5, 5:23, II Pet.3:18, Joel 2:28-29, Lk.3:16, Acts 1:4-5, 8, 2:4, 38-39, 10:44-47, I Cor.12:4-11, I John 2:20,27

We believe the Bible is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, and is the infallible revelation of God to Mankind.  II Tim.3:16-17, II Pet.1:20-21

We believe that Humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended.  Because of this, sickness, death, and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

We believe the finished work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the spirit, soul, and body.  Isa.53:4-5, Mt. 8:16-17, I Pet.2:24, James 5:14-15, III John 2

We believe that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ.  Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing, and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord.  The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and adopts us as we enter the kingdom of God as His sons and daughters.  Rom.3:23, 6:23, 10:13, Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7

We believe that the Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ.  It is the responsibility of every believer to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by preaching and living the good news of God’s love, and discipling the nations – baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.  Mt.28:19-20, Mk.16:15-20, Acts 1:8, 2:40-41, 47

We believe in the sacredness of Marriage between one man & one woman and family commitment. We promote strong family values and believe it is a reflection of Heaven on earth.  Eph. 5:31-33; Eph. 6:1-4; Heb. 13:4; Mt. 19:5; Lev. 18:22; Gen. 2:24

We believe in Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, as an ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember His sacrifice for us and to symbolize the new covenant. The elements of bread and wine (or juice) are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood.  Communion is not a means of salvation. Rather, it is a testament of a believer’s faith in the atoning work of the cross.

We believe in Water Baptism by immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Mt. 3:11; Mt. 28:18-19; John 14:6

We believe that Heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the lost and the saved, the one to everlasting death and the other to everlasting life.  Acts 24:15, I Cor.15:20-23, Rev.20:4-6, 12-15

Amen.
